For every Locked Door is a key
The key can be anything
A set of lock picks, an axe, or even the human body itself
Or, if you wish to be mundane, the actual key itself
But what if the lock is mental? Ethical? Moral?
What if the door is a veritable Pandora's Box
To open it is to release the ills of the world
What if behind the Locked Door
Is something you never wish to see
The door is locked, but the question is why
To open a Locked Door with a key is boring
To open a Locked Door with a hammer is less boring, but still boring
To open a Locked Door at all isn't entertaining
To question why a Door is Locked
That is the question.
Never mind WHAT is behind the Locked Door
Be it a cat whose status is unknown
A mound of treasure or a dead corpse or both
WHAT is behind a Locked Door is boring
WHO locked the door is slightly more interesting
But it is a short fact that barely serves as an appetizer
Who is the culprit? WHO cares?
Knowing WHO will only increase the appetite for the most interesting question
WHERE is the Door is, is only another appetizer
It is in the house basement. Well, whatever.
It is underneath a Castle, what poor dungeon is this?
It is the door to my closet, forget the skeletons
WHEN was it locked? WHEN did I wish to know? NEVER!
It was locked Last Night! It was Locked, ten years ago!
Simply put, it is locked some time ago, who cares for the duration!
HOW is the Door Locked?
By mechanism, how boorish!
By society, forget the rest of you!
By yourself, Get over it, weakling.
Whatever the lock is, just smash it with a key
But, I ask again, WHY is the Door Locked?
What reasons could there be
And what tales could it weave
The most entertaining question of all, is WHY.
Anyways, just open the damned thing.
...
Why is there a dead cat in here?
...
