There was no part of these forums for questions, comments, or other such things. I have taken it upon myself to do this. Now we can ask Pathen stuff like, "How do you draw your comics?" "Why is Kyrra blue?" or "Will Mayor Dobbins be re-elected?"
I want to know if an archives function will be made for Imaginary. With the comic reaching the mid-sixty page region, trying to look up something can result in a lot of clicking if it isn't recent (or past the prologue).

I have a question. In what time period is this comic taking place?

I'm sure this is answered someplace else, but what programs are used in creating Imaginary?

Hey there- Sorry for the lack of updates/Checking the forum. )= The loss of my graphics computer didn't do me well. I'm leaving that one up to time, really! The setting is very well defined in my head, but the time period/location are things that are largely being experienced from Cassandra's Point-of-view. She's a kid, so she doesn't know much about the location/era- though that will become apparent later. The time period could be described as an alternate 1980's or so, is the TL;DR answer. Just don't expect to see too much supermodern technology out in the countryside. Photoshop. ... And that's it. I use a drawing tablet and sketch, ink, color, and typeset the comic digitally. I write the script in Openoffice and adapt it directly. Usually I'll sketch in about 3-4 pages all at once, and then inking/shading takes as long as it does. I try not to work myself too hard, so if a page takes 12 hours, then it's a 1 page week. Sometimes pages go fast (3-4 hours) and those are 2-3 page weeks. Lately there have been a lot of 12 hour pages because I'm cracking down on my perspective/proportions/background detail.
